Yekom was founded in Tehran, Iran by Messrs Dr. Ali Majidi, Dr. Farhad Daftary and Dr. Fereidoun Mobasheri in 1973. During approximately 40 years of experience in providing engineering services, Yekom has accomplished over 1000 projects successfully.

Yekom pioneers in the export of technical and engineering services, as has been involved in international engineering activities since 1999. Since then Yekom has 15 big projects in hand or accomplished including dam construction, water resources engineering, river engineering and water and waste water in Syria, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan and Cuba. Yekom also has over 50 cases of cooperation with international funded projects by World Bank, IDB, FAO and UNDP.
